Hayley Williams

 

Hayley Williams is the founder and head coach of Hockey Worldwide Academy.

She is an American-Hungarian dual citizen and plays for the Hungarian Women's National Team. She is also in her 9th professional season, and is an assistant captain for KMH Hokiklub Budapest in the European Women's Hockey League.

Hayley makes her living solely in ice hockey, is truly living her dream life all because she fell in love with a game, and she is determined to help the future generation of female hockey players make their dream team by teaching, training, and inspiring them to become strong, skilled, and confident, both on and off the ice. 🏒

Madie Leidt

 

Madie Leidt is the Associate Program Director for Hockey Worldwide's Central Glory Program.

She is a professional hockey player and an assistant captain for KMH Hokiklub Budapest in the European Women's Hockey League.

Madie was a two-time captain of the Middlebury College ice hockey team and led them to an NCAA championship in 2022.

Her love for the game does not stop at playing, it continues in her passion for coaching and training young hockey players.

She is so excited to be part of the Hockey Worldwide and Central Glory communities in 2024!

Kathryn Kennedy

 

Kathryn Kennedy has been a lead on and off ice coach at Hockey Worldwide since its inception.

During the season, Kathryn coaches the Stoney Creek Sabres U15AA team, and helped lead them to a provincial championship in 2023.

She played professionally for MAC Budapest in the EWHL, as well as two Swedish seasons, one with Leksand IF Hockey Club in the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL), and one with Karlskrona Hockey Club.

Before her professional career, Kathryn played NCAA D1 at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT).

Kathryn has a strong passion for the game as both a coach and a player. She loves helping youth hockey players develop and reach their ultimate hockey and life goals. 

Giuliana Geati

 

Giuliana Geati graduated from college in May 2023 after fulfilling a dream of playing goalie for the University of Notre Dame Women's ice and field hockey teams.
 
While standing between the steel posts has garnered a unique perspective of the game, Giuliana continues her lifelong passion for the sport by coaching elite youth girls hockey of all positions on the ice.
 
When not on the ice, Giuliana spends her days in the Emergency Room as a Registered Nurse.
 
Her experience in athletics coupled with her nursing expertise has fed the true lessons of the sport: camaraderie, social emotional regulation, endurance, teamwork, and resilience. 

Brad Garney

 

Brad Garney was the Varsity Head Coach for Lake Central High School (Indiana), from 2017-2022, where the team had 3 Division 1 National Championships appearances and 3 league championships. 

He has been coaching youth and midget level hockey players since 2011, seeing many of his players advance to NCAA D1& D3, ACHA, Junior, AAA/AA levels. 

Brad has teamed up with Hayley for the past couple spring/summers in the girls youth hockey niche, and is excited to be part of the Hockey Worldwide & Central Glory team! 

He recently took a break from coaching in the regular season, as he and his wife, Kate, welcomed their first child, Brooks, in June 2022.

Kim Nelczyk

 

Kim Nelczyk is the Head Coach for University of Illinois Women's Hockey Team and is also the lead Strength and Conditioning coach for the Indiana Youth Hockey Association Girl's 12u-19u teams.

Nelczyk's collegiate athletic career consisted of playing NCAA D1 hockey and competing in track and field for Union College. Nelczyk transferred to University of Illinois - Urbana Champaign and finished her career with UIUC's club hockey team and also played Big Ten rugby.

She is motivated to provide a strong structure and foundation for young female hockey players and encourages them to be the strongest and most confident version of themselves both on and off the ice.

Cora Weibye

 

Cora Weibye graduated from college in May 2024 after playing collegiate hockey for Robert Morris University-IL and Roosevelt University.

While pursuing her passion for hockey, Cora also dedicated herself to her studies in Elementary School Education.

Concurrently, she made an impact within the Chicago Public Schools system, where she worked to empower and inspire students both in and out of the classroom as both a literacy tutor and soccer coach.

Since her early days playing hockey around the Chicagoland area, Cora's passion for the sport has been unwavering. It has not only shaped her identity but also fueled her drive to make a positive impact in the lives of others.

As a coach, she hopes to help athletes realize their full potential, both on and off the ice.

Aly Pomillo

 

Aly Pomillo grew up playing hockey in the Chicagoland area and has been passionate about the game since the day she stepped on the ice.

Playing at both the Tier 1 and 2 level through her youth she learned invaluable lessons and developed a strong work ethic that enabled her to play NCAA D3 hockey at Aurora University.

She has been giving back to the game for years teaching Learn to Skate and Head Coaching the U14 Naperville Sabre Girls team. She strives to be a role model and instill the values of being a good teammate as well as educating the players on positioning and the fundamentals of hockey.

When Aly isn't at the rink she is teaching her students in the classroom as an Elementary teacher. The guidance she shares while motivating the children to do their best is what contributes to her success as a mentor on the ice.
